Daryl Dagit, CEP®, CFP®, CRPS®

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®), and Certified Estate Planner™ (CEP®), Daryl is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.

Daryl has been involved with financial planning and asset management since 1986. Prior to joining Savant, he was a financial advisor with a national investment group for 18 years. He also held positions as a branch manager, regional training manager, and district manager. During his tenure he supervised nine managers and 34 employees throughout Illinois and was recognized with numerous company awards and citations for his superior performance.

Daryl is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the Estate Planning Council of Central Illinois, and the Financial Planning Association. He serves on the finance committee for St. John’s Church in Pekin and is a board member for the Peoria Symphony Orchestra Foundation, the ISU College of Business Institute for Financial Planning and Analysis, and Concordia Planning Services.

Daryl earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from Illinois State University.

Daryl and his wife Laura have three children. He enjoys boating, golfing, gardening, woodworking, and sporting clay shooting.

A Certified Estate Planner™ has:

  • Completed a rigorous eight (8) module course of instruction in the field of estate planning,
  • Successfully passed a comprehensive examination process,
  • Shown a desire to associate with professional estate planning peers,
  • Agreed to comply with annual estate planning continuing education requirements, and
  • Ascribed to the practical guidelines and code of ethics of the NICEP.
