Jerry is a nationally acclaimed speaker, financial planner, best-selling author, coach, and entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of JL Smith Associates. To better fulfill this mission, he founded JLS Marketing Concepts, a professional network for financial advisors nationwide.
Following in his father's footsteps as a second-generation advisor, he founded his financial services practice JL Smith Associates in 1985 to provide clients with holistic estate planning services that align investments, insurance, taxes and estate planning into one comprehensive, coordinated plan.
With the overriding goal of improving the lives of American families through holistic estate planning, Jerry utilizes his experiences as an advisor to train other advisors through live training events, monthly coaching calls and study groups. His philosophy is based on the four major concerns that affect retirees and their Estate Planning decisions.
To better fulfill this mission, he founded JLS Sales Academy, a professional training firm for insurance agents, financial advisors, and insurance companies offering online educational courses.
