Gary moved to Jacksonville, Florida, in 1978. He earned his B.A. and M.S. degrees from Jacksonville University. He has served the local community as both an educator and coach for 25 years at the high school and collegiate levels. He has also served the soccer community nationally and internationally as both an educator and coach, having been distinguished as a National Staff Coach for the United States Soccer Federation since 1998.

Gary is an Estate Planning, Protection, and Business Planning Specialist who started McKinley & Associates to ensure the continued quality of service and growth of resources available for present and future clients. As a specialist in risk management (wealth transfer, estate planning, advanced retirement, and business planning), Gary is responsible for managing the growth and resources of McKinley & Associates.

Active in the financial industry since 1998, Gary's commitment to listening to the needs and concerns of his clients has continued to earn the trust that is integral to the relationships between clients and his team. Gary is now partnered with Financial Resource Alliance, Capitas Financial Group, Estate Planning Concepts, and many of the top legal and accounting firms in North and Southeast Florida. Gary is a third time qualifier for the Million Dollar Round Table top 1% in the world.

Gary is respected for his volunteer and charity work with Coaches Honor, a ministry for the coaches of Northeast Florida. Gary is committed to helping the student athletes and future leaders of Northeast Florida as well as the Florida Youth Soccer Association, United States Youth Soccer Association, and United States Soccer Federation.

He continues to serve charities and foundations with his wife, Tracy; his children, Joseph, Kelly, and Katie; and the McKinley Wealth Management family. He continues to stay active on the local, state, regional, and national levels of the soccer community and other sports organizations and charities.
