Your Financial Literacy

Glenn is a Board Member and the Local Faculty Director of the 'Your Financial Literacy' program. This wonderful program is affiliated with the Gulf Coast Legacy Planning Council, and provided in partnership with Financial Beginnings, a national non-profit financial education organization. Financial Beginnings is fully supported by Corporations of the US, without Government funding. The organization was founded in 2005 in Portland, Oregon and their mission is to educate today’s youth about personal finance, empowering them to take control of their financial futures - something sadly lacking in the typical school curriculum.

Together with Program Advisor, Sydney Manna, Glenn devotes his time to developing programs and educating younger generations, helping them to build their own financial legacy pathway through various workshop sessions that are centered around topics such as Budgeting, Investing, Banking, Credit and Risk Management.

Glenn D. Fasani
Program Director

I am astonished at the lack of financial education in both the public and private school systems in this great country. Every individual will have to deal with ongoing money matters and financial decisions throughout their life. In nearly three decades of doing fee-based financial planning I have experience firsthand the devastating outcomes of individual's poor decisions - caused by a lack of knowledge or understanding about financial matters. Many clients with adult children have expressed a deep concern that any inheritance being left would not be managed properly. Many lament the fact that their financial legacy for future generations will be squandered away.
